boosters, air valves, and pipes Adjustment of wheel bearings Inspection and replacement of torque arm bushes Servicing of axles, springs, and trailer suspension
components Diagnosing and troubleshooting brake and air system faults
on truck trailers Full servicing and maintenance of trailer running gear and
suspension below deck Ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workshop
environment
Relevant trade qualification or certification in
brake fitting or heavy vehicle mechanics Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience
specifically in truck trailer brake systems Extensive practical knowledge of air brake
systems on truck trailers Experience with S-Cam bushes, slack
