Boring Mill Operator

Aerotek is hiring a CNC Boring Mill Machinist for our client located in Delta.

Must Have

+ Red Seal CNC Machinist cert
+ 1+ years of Horizonal Boring Mill experience

Job Description:

+ - set up and operate FERMAT floor boring mill TNC 640 using Heidenhain (German) controls to machine components according to engineering drawings and specifications
+ - read and interpret blueprints, work orders and technical drawings
+ - select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures and work-holding devices
+ - perform machine setups, offsets, tool changes and program adjustments as required
+ - measure and inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges and dial indicators
+ - ensure all parts meet dimensional and quality requirements
+ - maintain accurate production and inspection records
+ - perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping tasks
