Birth Certificate Representative

Job Highlights:

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm

Location: Hybrid, in person SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - St. Louis as needed

Qualifications: Experience with EHR preferred, proficient computer skills, and excellent customer service skills

Job Summary:

Obtains information for birth and death certificates reporting and prepares the certificate in accordance with state Vital Statistics rules and regulations. Collects statistics for reporting, e.g. mortality.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Identifies and abstracts information regarding births/deaths to assist in completion of reporting to the State Department of Vital Statistics.

Prepares and electronically submits required reporting information to the State's database.
