Biodiversity Summer Student: Wetlands & Rivers Fieldwork

Environment Canterbury invites applications for a 2026 Summer Student Programme in Christchurch. This 3–4 month, full-time fixed-term role offers hands-on work across biodiversity and biosecurity projects, with a tailored onboarding and cohort learning experience.

You’ll support monitoring of wetlands, braided rivers, and fish habitats, plus pest surveillance, while developing practical skills and professional networks in a supportive environment.
