Responsibilities
The Messaging Team is responsible for maintaining and optimizing Twilio’s core messaging infrastructure, which powers SMS, MMS, WhatsApp, and other communication channels globally. The team provides hands‑on support to customers by guiding them through the configuration of various sender types—including long codes, short codes, and toll‑free numbers—and assists with critical number registration processes such as A2P 10DLC campaigns, WhatsApp Business Profile onboarding, and compliance with country‑specific sender ID requirements. Additionally, the team proactively monitors and analyzes messaging traffic, identifying anomalies or delivery issues through log reviews and performance dashboards.
