Behaviour Mentor – Secondary Schools (North Bristol)

If you’re the kind of person who can walk into a room, read it in seconds, and calmly steer things back on track when emotions run high, secondary schools near you are crying out for your skills.

Teenagers don’t always get it right, and that’s where Behaviour Mentors come in. You’ll be the steady voice, the calm presence, the “let’s reset and try again” adult who helps students turn tough moments into positive ones.

What you’ll be doing day to day

Every school is different, but here’s what the role usually looks like.

Supporting behaviour plans
You'll work closely with teachers and pastoral teams to keep students engaged, regulated, and ready to learn. That might mean checking in with a student before lessons, helping them settle after a wobble, or keeping routines consistent so they can focus.
