Battery Cell Assembly Process Engineer

**Job Description**

**DUTIES:** Technical expert for the development of cell assembly processes including development and approval of cell assembly equipment specifications. Provide technical leadership and coaching to team members and stakeholders. Develop battery cell assembly processes, engineering specifications, documentation, etc. Develop and implement Bill of Process and Bill of Equipment. Interface and build relationships with JV partners to support the flawless launch of battery cell manufacturing facilities. Work with machinery and equipment suppliers on procurement, design, build, validation, and start-up of cell assembly equipment. Work with equipment suppliers on design and build of cell assembly equipment. Optimization of cell manufacturing line layout for assembly processes. Support construction teams with specifications on building and facility requirements for assembly processes. Support implementation of GM safety specifications and equipment safety reviews....
