JOB DESCRIPTION

 

The Banquets team at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre plays a vital role in delivering exceptional service and unforgettable experiences. We’re currently hiring Banquet Servers to support a wide range of events from tradeshows and conferences to corporate meetings and galas, with professionalism, efficiency, and a warm, guest-focused approach. Successful candidates will be personable, detail-oriented, and flexible to work rotating shifts, including days, evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.


JOB RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Prepare tables for meals, buffets, and beverage stations. 

  • Arrange dishes, cutlery, glasses, and required equipment.

  • Serve and clear breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets. 

  • Clear tables throughout the event. 

  • Remove remaining items and transport to bussing areas post-event.

  • Operate hot boxes, trays, carts, coffee urns, and wagons.
