Spire Murrayfield Hospital is looking to recruit a Patient Support Porter to join their fantastic Theatre team on a bank basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Correctly undertake tasks that have been delegated in relation to specific patients as agreed with the care team Prepare patient, equipment and materials appropriately Obtain consent from patients before starting the tasks . moving and handling, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times Moving patient from bed to trolley; trolley to operating table; operating table to trolley; trolley to bed Identify and report to an appropriate person any significant changes that might affect the patient’s health and well-being during escort duties and moving/handling Respect patients’ privacy, dignity, wishes and beliefs and minimise any necessary discomfort
