Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products within establishments.
• Load and unload product to/from delivery vehicles and designated storage areas.
• Read production schedule, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to a predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Operate gas or electric powered forklift truck to move, stack, load, or unload materials, parts, finished goods.
• May load/unload trucks; may use a Hi‑Rise to load items in storage racks.
