Business Compliance Officer

To excel in this role, you'll need to stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and industry trends. You'll work collaboratively with business units to identify and assess compliance risks, and develop effective controls to manage these risks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vigilance over developments in the local regulatory environment to proactively manage the potential regulatory risk exposure of affected divisions/departments.
• Advise business/support units on compliance laws, rules and standards, including keeping them informed of the developments in this area.
• Educate staff on regulatory compliance issues and act as point of contact for regulatory compliance queries from staff.
• Perform gap analysis on new/revised guidelines issued by regulators and follow up on action plans.
