Aviation Technical Systems Specialist (Community Involvement Specialist)

Summary Position is located within the Air Traffic Organization, Central Service Center, Operations Support Group, Environmental, Community Involvement, and Analytics Team, AJV-C250. Responsibilities Performs multiple, varying, and complex assignments under the minimal direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced technical specialist. Applies experience and comprehensive knowledge of FAA air traffic control processes and procedures to perform required airspace and procedures analysis. Serves as a subject matter expert in assigned areas of responsibility to provide expertise on technical matters, programs, and procedures relating to the National Airspace Systems. Analyzes proposed changes to the National Airspace Systems (NAS) to determine impact and provide suggestions to improve the quality of services and correct deficiencies.
