Aviation Service Worker

The purpose of this position is to provide general maintenance and services to the airport.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs aviation work by directing air craft, fueling and towing aircraft, securing and tying down aircraft, performing aircraft lavatory services, and maintaining cleanliness in aircraft areas.


• Receives, inspects and processes aviation fuel deliveries


• Provides vehicle maintenance by performing inspections and ensuring proper preventative maintenance on motor vehicles, ground equipment and landscaping equipment.


• Performs landscaping maintenance by mowing and treating grass, repairing fencing, performing trenching, digging, and concrete work.


• Assists in airfield maintenance by maintaining the proper state of runways and taxiways and maintaining proper wiring connections for directional and obstruction lights.
