Automotive Worker

The Automotive Worker repairs, rebuilds, or makes minor repairs of internal combustion automobiles, buses, trucks or tractors. Work involves most of the following: Servicing vehicles to keep in good working condition; replacing worn or broken parts such as piston rings, bearings, or other engine parts; addressing and adjusting valves; and repairing fuel injections, lighting, and ignition systems. This role is often entry level mechanical services centered.

**Responsibilities**

+ Performs minor service and repairs on areas such as battery checks/replacements, tire rotation, repairs. Types include those in commercial, industrial, or tactical use such as passenger cars, trucks, forklift trucks and warehouse tractors.
+ Wash, polish, and clean vehicle exteriors and interiors.
+ Drain, flush, and replace engine, transmission and differential oils and greases.
