Overview

Primary Details: Time Type: Full time. Worker Type: Employee. Base location: Manila. Reporting to the Team Lead, Internal Controls Assurance, with a dotted matrix reporting line to the Head of Group Finance Operational Risk & Assurance. The role conducts control audits across the Global QBE Finance environment and assists in standardising processes and control documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess the operating effectiveness of controls, evaluate the adequacy of supporting documentation, and challenge divisional accounting teams to remediate control deficiencies.
• Use professional and accounting judgement to evaluate control performance and suggest improvements.
• Monitor the testing universe and related risk profiles, recommending changes and updates to ensure alignment with recognition methodology.
• Address regulatory requirements, including support for ICA audits, and keep pace with relevant regulatory developments...
