RESPONSIBILITIES: Participating in the team planning and scoping of risk-based inspections. Inspecting planned financial statement audit engagements and firms quality management policies and procedures; discussing findings; consulting internally and preparing high quality reports in a timely manner. Preparing high quality inspection files with appropriate evidence of inspections in a timely manner. Regular interaction with audit firms, including engagement partners and firm leadership, to discuss inspection findings. Demonstrating independence and sound professional judgement in driving inspection matters to conclusion. Participating in relevant projects of the organization in fulfilling its mandate. Researching and consulting internally on technical auditing and financial reporting matters. Preparing reports and inspection outcomes for presentation to the Inspections Committee (INSCOM).
