Associate Laboratory Test Engineer - Materials Science

Job Responsibilities: Interpret work orders, including sample specifications, applicable test standards, and acceptance criteria to ensure clear understanding of testing requirements.
Prepare draft reports and testing instructions to facilitate smooth test execution.
Coordinate with technicians to ensure proper understanding and execution of assigned testing activities.
Take ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely completion.
Assist in engaging customers to understand testing requirements and provide basic clarifications where required.
Participate in laboratory quality activities, including equipment maintenance, calibration, and verification processes.
Support test execution during peak periods, ensuring adherence to procedures and proper documentation of results.
Record and compile test data accurately and highlight any irregularities or concerns to senior engineers.
