Associate Geotechnical Engineer – Christchurch

Jacobs is expanding its Geotechnical team in Christchurch and seeks an Associate Geotechnical Engineer to design and deliver infrastructure projects across transport, buildings, water, energy & power, and marine sectors.

Responsibilities

• Design and delivery management of medium to large geotechnical engineering projects.
• Client relationship management, including commercial set‑up and technical delivery oversight.
• Development of geotechnical design strategies and documentation to industry standards.
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, both in‑office and on‑site.
• Support regional connections and knowledge sharing across New Zealand and Australia.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology.
