Associate, Cost Monitoring

Compensation

$95,000-$125,000 (base). Additional compensation such as bonuses, equity, benefits may not be included.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of cost consulting services to new and existing clients, including a full technical understanding of construction estimation.
• Prepare drawing lists and read blueprints at an advanced level, providing guidance on project statistics and functional areas.
• Complete project descriptions, assumptions, and estimates with a practical understanding of construction methodology.
• Prepare and complete partial/full trade/elemental take‑offs, leveraging trade/product knowledge.
• Understand pricing structures for residential, ICI, and civil projects, as well as M&E systems.
• Analyze general conditions breakdown, change orders, and comparative/tender analysis, and coordinate/deliver estimates using software such as CAD, Excel, CostX, BIM, Digitizer, and PowerPoint.
