Assistant Vice President – Indirect Tax

JOB PURPOSE

Manage the indirect tax function for Aldar Group. Assist in the delivery of a full range of indirect tax services in compliance with laws and regulations.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in developing and executing indirect tax strategies aligned with the group's objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in the preparation of indirect tax-related transactions and documentation.
• Ensure adherence to accounting department policies and procedures, emphasizing compliance with UAE financial reporting statutes, standards, and best practices.
• Contribute to the preparation of indirect tax returns and related filings.
• Support the implementation of robust indirect tax compliance processes across the entities.
• Assist in the periodic and annual indirect tax reporting to the authorities.
• Provide M&A support and expertise from an indirect tax perspective.
