TriPoint Insurance Underwriting Inc. is hiring an Underwriter Assistant contract 12 month position for our P&C department. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting underwriters with a variety of tasks including account file maintenance, processing of insurance documentation, account discrepancies with Finance, invoicing etc and other administrative tasks as assigned.
What you'll be responsible for
- New business triage - set up in EPIC/Policy Works, attach all correspondence, notify underwriter by email, activity, etc.
- Providing file documentation upon request by the underwriter (Epic attachments)
- Document issuance including new/renewal policies, endorsements, certificates of insurance, binders, etc.
- Invoicing of new, renewal & endorsement documents (as required/backup)
- Provide exceptional customer service with respect to response time, product accuracy, and collaborative communication
