Assistant Retail Sales Advisor

Role Overview

Auckland Zoo is a much-loved visitor destination where people come to connect with wildlife, whānau, conservation and memorable experiences. Behind the scenes, our Brand Experience & Business Development team helps bring that experience to life through our brand, communications, partnerships, commercial activity and the Zoo Shop. With the continued growth of the Zoo Shop, we’re looking for a motivated, organised and detail-focused Assistant Retail Sales Advisor to help keep our retail operation running smoothly. This is a permanent, full-time role working 40 hours per week, based on‑site at the Auckland Zoo Retail Shop. Working closely with the Retail Sales Advisor and Storeroom Coordinator, this role will support everything from stock ordering, pricing, cataloguing and inventory accuracy through to online orders, shop presentation and helping create a welcoming retail experience for our visitors.
