Job Description
The Department of Physics, housed in the Brailsford College of Arts and Sciences at Prairie View A&M University, invites applications for a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track position for the rank of Assistant Professor. Responsibilities include teaching lecture and laboratory courses at the undergraduate level, conducting research involving undergraduate students, as well as service to the department, college, university, and field. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply though we particularly encourage candidates with prior teaching experience in physics at community or four year college level.
Responsibilities:
Teach lecture and laboratory courses, advise students, participate in curriculum and program development. Supervision of undergraduate students in their research projects.
