Assistant Manager - Safety & Health

Key Responsibilities

1. Safety and Health Enforcement:
   • Enforce implementation of safety practices according to regulatory requirements and Gamuda QSHE Management System.
   • Issue Safety Stop Work Orders or Safety Improvement Notices to Project Heads when breaches occur.
   • Conduct independent Safety System Compliance Audits and Safety Inspections at project sites, issuing Corrective Action Requests for any infringements.
   • Ensure safe work practices during major or potential hazardous work such as tunneling activities.
   • Evaluate compliance with Safety & Health requirements for the Project’s Legal and Other Requirement Register.
2. Safety Promotion:
   • Promote Safe Work Practices and Safety Awareness at project sites.
   • Conduct formal safety training and provide related support.
   • Investigate major incidents and prepare independent reports for Project Heads.
