Assistant HSE Officer Academic Qualifications Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health, or a related field. Professional Training Occupational Safety and Health training. Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis. Risk Assessment and Hazard Identification. Work at Height Safety. Scaffold Inspection and Scaffold Safety Awareness. First Aid and CPR. Fire Safety and Emergency Response. Permit to Work Systems. Experience Minimum 2 years' experience in a safety role within construction, maintenance, engineering, oil & gas, or related industries. Demonstrable experience conducting site inspections, toolbox talks, and site supervision. Experience monitoring contractor activities and high-risk work. Knowledge and Skills Demonstrable knowledge of Kenyan occupational safety and health legislation, including OSHA 2007, DOSH regulations and requirements, and practical application of workplace safety management systems.
