About the Course
Shirkey Golf Course is a challenging, championship-style, semi-private 18-hole course located
in Richmond, MO, a short distance from Kansas City at Highways 210 and 13. Designed by
Chet Mendenhall, a founding member of the GCSAA, in 1969, the course has been recognized
by Golf Digest as a top public course in the Kansas City area with a 4 ½ star rating. Our par 71
course features Zoysia fairways and tee boxes with Bent grass greens, with four sets of tees
that stretch from 5500 to 7020 yards. We offer a driving range, pro shop, banquet room, and
restaurant, and consistently strive to offer golfers of all abilities a great experience.
