Vacancy Description
We are looking for an active, well-organized Assistant Fashion Designer (up to 1 year of experience) to support our design operations, material sourcing, vendor follow-ups, and quality control.
You will act as the key operational link between our Senior Designer, store team, local vendors, and outside tailoring workshops. Your main focus will be sourcing required fabrics and trims, conducting daily workshop visits, checking finished garments against measurement sheets, and ensuring orders move smoothly from concept to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Material & Trim Sourcing
Source fabrics, dyes, trims, laces, borders, latkans, and embellishments from local markets based on design requirements and client orders.
Maintain an organized inventory/catalog of fabric swatches, embroidery samples, and trim options for quick reference.
Ensure all sourced materials meet the quality, color, and texture standards required for each garment before sending them to tailors.
