Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Factory Manager to support the Factory Manager in overseeing daily processing and operational performance within a seafood processing facility. This role is critical to ensuring safe, efficient, cost‑effective production across squid, hake, pilchard, and line fish processing operations, including cold storage and ice plant activities. This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to a results‑driven individual who thrives in a fast‑paced production environment. The Assistant Factory Manager will lead and coordinate shift production activities, supervise factory teams, monitor productivity and yield, and ensure full compliance with food safety, quality, health & safety, and regulatory requirements. The position plays a key role in achieving production targets, optimising labour and resource utilisation, maintaining equipment performance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
