Responsibilities
- Lead and manage team members in the assigned estate division and uphold good agricultural practices in line with company policy.
- Plan, organise and implement work programmes within the approved budget to achieve optimum productivity and quality.
- Ensure key work programmes such as road access, harvester access, workforce adequacy, staff facilities, upkeep, fertiliser and key stock supply are performed effectively.
- Inspect actual work against plans and standards, and develop remedial actions when variances occur.
- Review daily, weekly and monthly reports, highlight estate issues to the Estate Manager and recommend action.
- Ensure accurate operational and cost information is supplied to the estate office clerks.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and ESH (Environment, Safety and Health) statutory regulations.
