Assistant Department Manager, Grocery

We are hiring for an Assistant Department Manager, Grocery at our location in Warman, SK. The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week and have open availability.

Responsibilities

• Assist with leading a team, acting as a coach, mentor, and resource to team members.
• Foster a positive environment focused on Customer First service.
• Engage and retain team members through training, development, performance management, rewards, recognition, and identification of future leaders.
• Communicate important messages with the team.
• Use knowledge of the community, competitive environment, and industry to develop entrepreneurial strategies to grow the business.
• Take count of the correct amount of stock.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience (considered an asset).
• Food Safe Certification.
