Assistant Chief Engineer

The Assistant Chief Engineer supports the Director of Engineering in overseeing all aspects of the hotel’s engineering and maintenance operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost‑effective operation of the property while upholding the highest standards of service, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, train, and schedule Engineering team members in accordance with service standards, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
• Implement and manage preventative maintenance programs to ensure timely repair and optimal performance of all building systems, equipment, and guestroom facilities.
• Ensure full compliance with local authority regulations, including life‑safety standards.
• Inspect, test, and certify emergency and safety systems in accordance with brand standards and legal requirements.
