Assembly & Production Technician

Almond is building the physical interface for AI. Axol is a dual-arm robot designed for real‐world deployment. We're looking for an Assembly Technician to help us build, test, and ship robots to customers. This role sits at the core of the company. You'll be assembling the actual systems that go out into the world, working closely with engineering to improve reliability, speed, and quality. What You'll Do Assemble Axol robots, including mechanical structures, wiring, and enclosures Perform bring‐up, testing, and basic debugging of robot systems Follow and improve assembly procedures, work instructions, and checklists Identify and flag issues during builds (fit, tolerance, wiring, reliability) Work closely with engineers to iterate on designs Support prototyping, rework, and small‐batch production builds Help manage parts, tools, and build organization on the floor Track, audit, and manage inventory levels to ensure accuracy.
