Asbestos Consultant

Role Description

The Asbestos Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Auckland. This position is responsible for conducting asbestos surveys and inspections in residential, commercial, and industrial properties, including sampling and coordinating laboratory analysis. The role includes preparing clear, accurate technical reports, advising clients on asbestos management plans, and supporting the planning and oversight of asbestos removal projects to ensure regulatory compliance. The consultant will also perform site clearance inspections, provide practical health and safety guidance, and collaborate with internal laboratory and consultancy teams. Regular client communication, adherence to New Zealand regulations and guidelines, and participation in continuous improvement of Aerem’s environmental consultancy services are key aspects of the role.
