AECOM Buildings + Places, AECOM’s Architectural business, is seeking an Architectural technologist to join our team. This position will be based out of our Burnaby office with remote/hybrid work options permitted. This is a newly created position.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic architectural/engineering calculations.
• Prepare specifications, reports, and related data tables.
• Maintain liaison with design and drafting groups.
• Prepare, review, and approve drawings as required.
• Under some supervision, may complete design assignments of moderate to high complexity.
• Limited familiarity with codes, permits, and software applications related to the discipline.
• Be introduced to the process of preparing designs and drawings using project specifications and discipline‑associated written and verbal instructions in accordance with established design practices, standards and procedures....
