ARCHITECTURAL JOINERY DRAFTSMAN

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The purpose of the job of a Joinery Draftsman is to create detailed technical drawings and plans for joinery projects ensuring that all designs meet project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare detailed joinery shop drawings for various projects including residential and commercial.
• Develop 2D and 3D CAD drawings based on specifications and project requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers to understand project scope and requirements.
• Ensure that all drawings comply with industry standards and project specifications.
• Revise drawings as needed based on feedback and changes in project scope.
• Prepare material take‑offs and assist in the preparation of bill of materials.
