Apprentice Machinist Technician

+ Assist in all phases of part machining and water jet operations including:


+ Review of part/component/system technical data for completeness and accuracy

+ Identification of tooling, jig, and fixture requirements & support/input/review of engineering designs

+ CNC file implementation

+ Set-up

+ Rough and finish machining


+ Identify machine tool requirements

+ Provide support to either Project Manager or mid-level/junior Engineering/Science personnel in the areas of scheduling, data gathering/limited analyses preparation of technical/project reports, test reports, drawings, specifications and associated documentation

+ Assist with department administrative duties as necessary to learn about the work being performed, and to contribute to completion of department workload

+ Other duties as assigned
