Job Description

Key Duties: 

  • Assist with the preparation and cooking of high-quality food in accordance with recipes, menu specifications and food safety standards.
  • Learn and develop practical cookery skills under the guidance of experienced chefs across a variety of kitchen sections.
  • Prepare ingredients, including washing, peeling, chopping and portioning, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen, adhering to all food safety, HACCP and workplace health and safety requirements.
  • Assist with receiving, storing and rotating stock to minimise waste and maintain product freshness.
  • Support the kitchen team during service by ensuring food is prepared and presented efficiently and to a high standard.
