Job Title: Anesthesia Technician I
Department: Operating Room
Location: Unity Hospital - 1555 Long Pond Rd Rochester, New York
Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday - Friday 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM


SUMMARY:
As an Anesthesia Tech, your excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality control helps you to manage anesthesia equipment and supplies, while assisting with daily functions of the Anesthesia Department.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Equipment Management. Maintain all anesthesia equipment; manage quality control by recognizing malfunctioning equipment and taking necessary action; perform minor equipment repairs and preventive maintenance
  • Procedure Assistance. Prepare anesthesia equipment and supplies for use; calibrate and check equipment accurately before each use; assist with procedures as assigned; stock anesthesia carts with extremely high-risk medicatio...
