**Position Purpose**

+ The Surgical Services Anesthesia Tech performs patient care duties delegated by the RN related to patients’ personal needs, comfort, and safety.

**As a “Anesthesia Tech” you will:**

+ Cleans and replaces used supplies, equipment at the conclusion of each case. If meds are found unattended the anesthesia tech demonstrates accountability in securing the meds by contacting a licensed professional i.e. registered nurse or anesthesiologist for proper disposable.
+ Stocks and cleans carts used for anesthesia supplies and equipment. Maintains and cleans travel anesthesia carts, fast track prep cart and difficult intubation and A line carts.
