ROLE: FOX 5 San Diego/KUSI News duopoly is seeking a dynamic Weather Anchor for FOX 5’s 5.5-hour long weekday morning news. Successful candidate is digitally savvy, excels in ad-libbing and storytelling to drive engagement with viewers across multiple platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Accurate and creative producing and reporting of daily weather and traffic forecasts to support multiple live hits – using all resources available
+ Anchors, produces and contributes content to digital platforms including station’s CTV streaming app, website and social media account
+ Collaborates with producers, assignment desk, digital team to create timely and engaging reports across all platforms
+ Must be able to ad-lib live breaking news with a strong ability to interact with anchors in studio
+ Must be able to report live in the field and turn a pkg as needed
