Canada’s life sciences sector holds significant potential, yet critical capital gaps remain. BDC’s new Life Sciences Venture Fund is designed to address these gaps by investing in Canadian life sciences startups, accelerating their growth, anchoring innovation in Canada, and ensuring that economic returns, high‑quality jobs, and patient impact are realized domestically.
Investment Analysts join the Life Sciences Team as early‑career professionals to evaluate potential deals and monitor the current portfolio, primarily focusing on medical devices.
In this role you will network, research, and analyze prospective and current investments, covering strategic topics such as markets, industries, ecosystems, competition, and operational aspects such as financials, management, and products. You will leverage analytical skills and work alongside experts on a variety of market and industrial subjects.
