Aircraft Mechanic I

Amentum is immediately hiring a qualified Line work center Aircraft Mechanic I in support of U.S. Navy Aviation maintenance / flight operations at NAS Oceana Virginia Beach, VA. VFA-106.

This opening will hold the position and will include all duties and responsibilities as a General Aircraft Mechanic 1 with work center 310 (Line) background on the F/A-18 and must maintain currency as a qualified Plane Captain. Must be familiar with the Line work center daily operations and become familiar with company policies and procedures to include Monthly Reports, QA reports and Tally reports. The applicant must be able to comply with the customers (Navy's) daily scheduled/unscheduled flight/maintenance operations. Must be able to prioritize the needs of the customer in a clear and professional manner. Must be able to react quickly and precisely to the ever-changing operational requirements of customer.
