**Aircraft Mechanic – Medevac**

**Job Description**

**Support the maintenance, inspection, and repair of medevac aircraft operating from Winnipeg and northern locations. Perform line and heavy maintenance to ensure aircraft are safe, reliable, and mission-ready for critical air medical operations.**

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform line and heavy maintenance on medevac aircraft.
+ Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aircraft systems and components.
+ Complete pre-flight and post-flight inspections.
+ Use diagnostic equipment to assess aircraft structure and system performance.
+ Accurately document maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
+ Work closely with maintenance and operations teams to support flight readiness.
+ Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
+ Follow all safety procedures when handling fuels, oils, chemicals, and hazardous materials.
