Overview You will be an Electronics Technician II, applying your comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems and maintain, repair, troubleshoot, modify, and install various types of electronic equipment and related devices. Responsibilities Interpret manufacturers' manuals and technical documents to solve complex problems. Troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment, including radar, radio, television, telecommunications, sonar, and navigational aids. Install, modify, and maintain electronic systems, including personal and mainframe computers and terminals. Evaluate performance and reliability of prototype or production mode equipment and recommend changes to simplify assembly and maintenance. Read and interpret USAF technical orders, service bulletins, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and the best method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning systems.
