AI-Cloud Data Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Lead Software Engineer - AI, Cloud Native Data Engineering for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.


This role is part of a high-performing team passionate about data, with a focus on building a modern AI-enabled data platform from the ground up. The successful candidate will be an integral part of migrating on-premises systems to the Google and Azure cloud, helping to lead the design and hands-on implementation of modern data processing capabilities in a collaborative, agile environment.



Responsibilities:

Implement and operationalize modern AI-enabled data capabilities on Google Cloud to ingest, transform, and distribute data for a variety of big data apps

Leverage AI/Agentic frameworks to automate data management, governance, and data consumption capabilities - data pipelines, data quality, metadata, data ...
