Summary of Function

The Listuguj Mi’gmaq Government is seeking to employ an energetic, collaborative, self‑motivated person to work as an additional AGS Methods and Resource Teacher. Under the supervision of Special Education Coordinator, the M&R Teacher is responsible for the support of Individualized Education Plans (IEP).

Job Duties

• Carries out classroom observations as required by the classroom teacher, student services teams, or AGS administration.
• Works with the classroom teacher and the Methods and Resource Coordinator to administer and interpret standardized and/or informal academic tests needed to establish appropriate instructional programs or placement.
