Agriculture Development Specialist - Auburn, NY

This position will serve as the Agriculture Development Specialist for Cornell Cooperative Extension Association of Cayuga County and will be responsible for assisting the Executive Director with developing, planning, implementing and evaluating Agriculture education for a menu of Agriculture programs to include, but not be limited to: dairy production, management, marketing, business development, and tourism. The primary audience for programming will include agricultural producers and related service providers; new entrepreneurs in production, processing, and agriculture related business including agricultural tourism; and community members whose support of agriculture is important. This position will teach in both group and individual settings utilizing a variety of delivery methods, to include, but not limited to: workshops, seminars, demonstrations, interest groups, newsletters, farm visits, and mass media.
