AgeCare Nursing Unit Clerk Position

Support residents as a Casual Nursing Unit Clerk at AgeCare in Scarborough, Ontario. This part-time position focuses on staffing coordination and maintaining a secure environment for all.
In this role, you will take charge of the daily scheduling for the Nursing Department at AgeCare. Your efforts help foster a safe and comfortable atmosphere, while you assist in managing staff attendance and addressing any absenteeism issues with the Director of Care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate daily staffing needs in the Nursing Department
• Update staffing changes on the Master Schedule
• Facilitate overtime work approval processes
• Keep attendance reports for the nursing staff
• Communicate absenteeism concerns as necessary
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Post-secondary education is considered an asset
• Excellent English communication skills required
• CPR certification may be needed
• Canadian work experience is not mandatory
