After School Play Worker Assistant

Job Purpose

To be responsible for the development and daily support of the After School Club, providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children.

Support club bookings. Ensuring that all relevant records are maintained, and queries are escalated to the After School Play Worker Supervisor headteacher or administrator

To ensure health and safety and food hygiene requirements are met within the statutory guidelines and appropriate first aid stocks are maintained, and incidents recorded. To report any health and safety concerns to the headteacher immediately.

To work in partnership with parents and carers, to promote the wellbeing of children. To ensure end of day collection arrangements are clear and in accordance with school and safeguarding procedures.

Planning and implementation of the daily activities ensuring that children’s needs are met and the programme is suitable and varied.
