About The Role

As an Advanced Practitioner Strategic Lead, you will work closely with the Assistant Directors and Director of Public Health, leading a defined portfolio of work that supports our ambition to improve population health, reduce inequalities and embed public health principles across the Council and wider system. Your role will involve leading the development, commissioning and delivery of major public health programmes, ensuring they are evidence‑led, equitable and aligned with the Council’s Corporate Plan, City Vision and Health and Wellbeing Strategy.
